I do not separate observation from action: I read contexts, listen to conversations, organise signals and turn what I learn into routes of work. This platform shows a way of thinking, building and caring for the meaning of what is done.

Introduction

I am Harby Andrés Trujillo Vargas, an anthropologist from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Software Analysis and Development Technologist trained at SENA. My career connects social research, education, project direction, communications, innovation and technology.

I work with communities, educational institutions, health services, companies and interdisciplinary teams to turn complex problems into understandable pathways, content, tools and systems.

Languages are also an important part of my journey. I enjoy learning them because they allow me to engage with different ways of thinking, communicate across diverse contexts and broaden opportunities for collaboration, research and learning. I currently work and continue developing my skills in Spanish, English, French and German.

Teacher and co-researcher

I designed and facilitated classes in civic competences, critical reading, philosophy, English, social sciences and Spanish for secondary school and pre-university preparation. I also supported research lines in science, technology, society and environment, including articles, projects, group coordination and document management.

I supported processes for the defence of territorial and cultural rights, the systematisation of ancestral knowledge and the strengthening of community identity.
